Heey!

Sup?

Long time I don’t post anything… Well, I’ve been in a hurry with school, riding and work… At least getting some money and have fun with my friends around here!

Today we’re having an awesome weather and I’m going to do a pic/vid section with Zeeh! Quite awesome :D

He arrived in my house, and while the lunch was in the oven, we took some pics with my mac iSight cam… low res, but quite funny :D

Later I’m going to post the pics and some vid :D

Cheers!

Oi!

As my flight back home departed from Auckland, I decided to stay there for a few days and knows the place :D !

The city kinda reminds me of Wellington but WAY bigger! There are LOTS of brazilians in the streets… It’s really impressive… I think that Auckland was the place where we felt more comfortable!

We also visited an awesome aquarium out there! Everything is on the pictures ;) :

Hello :D !

Taupo is a city in the middle of the New Zealand north island, surrounded by 3 big vulcans and a huge lake!

You can’t say that’s not beautiful!… In our first breakfast (we took a overnight bus to get there, coming from Wellington), we ate with a nice view of the lake and with the vulcan in the background! But nothing is perfect: The city is quite expensive!

In Taupo you can bungy jump, sky dive, kaiak… There are many extreme sports to do, but everything is expensive! Usually each “adventure” costs about 100 NZ Dollars per person! Considering that you can do 3 per day, it can be really hard for your pocket!

If you rent a car you can go to the national park, which is full of hikes! You can also run around the entire lake!

As I was there for one day only and also running low money, I chose to do a boat ride at the Huka Falls! The water fall is really beautiful, and also the rivers around… You really fell into a Lord of the Rings scene! The boat is really fast and can do 360 spins, which makes the ride really awesome!

There’s also a hot water river (42 Celsius Degrees!) that ends in the same river where the boat rides!

Over there you can find some of the pics I shot in Taupo:

Heeey!

What’s up!?

After the 12 days in Wellington, I got over 2000 PICTURES! Just crazy… Was really boring to choose the best ones, and even after the selection I uploaded something like 500 pics!

Everything is on my flickr, but I embbed a slideshow with all the pictures here :D ! There are riding pics and also stuff from the museums I visited and  places I went to my friends!

I hope you enjoy it!

Cya!

PS: I’m already working on the pics I shot in Taupo!

Heeey!

Sorry about the lack of updates! I had a problem in the translation system of the blog!

New Zealand is awesome! As always everybody was really friendly and receptive… Just the weather is a bit weird: REALLY windy and it changes from a strong sun to something really cold in minutes!

Almost all the competitiors are already here. Some of them had problems with flights and luggage but everything was solve! We’re already training a lot and the competitions will probably be real fun!

The organization is a simpler than the 2008 World Champs but still quite awesome! We already filmed and shot some nice pics! I hope to be able to post everything really soon! For now I posted some pics that I liked:

PS: Last 3 pics by Miles Ornish!

Hiii :D

Tomorrow (18/12) I’ll give an interview for the “Planeta EXPN” show (ESPN Brasil Channel). It will be live but unfortunately broadcasted for Brazil only! Probably next week it will be online too!

On the interview I’ll talk about my last months experiences, including the first places in the Latin American Championship, and also about UNICON, the world championship that I’m going to attend next week in New Zealand!

The show starts at 14:00. It will be replayed at 2:00!

Cheers!

Helloo :D

Between Octuber 31 and November 1 we had in Santiago and Valparaíso, Chile, the first Latin American Unicycling Convention and Championship!

I was in the organization of the event, working hard since july to make it happen with the other guys in Chile and Argentina (the experience from European competitions reaaally helps a lot!)! The results: It was awesome!

Not only the competitions, that followed all IUF rules and specs, but meeting everybody was the best part! The biggest part of us knew each other over th web, but was hard to have ALL riders together. With the Kris Holm Sponsor in prizes and specially with the Cabeza de Martillo partnership, that sponsored us with the space and structure, everything worked out!

In the competitions I got some interesting results: First place in Trials, Street and Flatland! The complete results are on the official website: www.laucc.com

It was amazing :D ! The first of many south american competitions I think! The next one probably will take place in Argentina in the first semester of 2010! I can’t wait for it!

The official video is being made in Chile by one of the riders! For now, the pictures from my new camera (Thanks MOM and DAD! The new camera really helped a lot!):

Hey :D

After EUC Summer I took a small “break” and traveled a bit around France. I spent some days in Buthiers with visits to Paris (Was cheaper to stay there and go everyday to the “old city”). After that I went with Yoggi by car to Toulouse! The city is fantastic! Nice people, nice spots to ride, nice pubs and a good vibe at all. Obviously, there’s no one better than Yoggi to show the city! I had 3 or 4 days with Yoggi, Vava and his friends in Toulouse, and after that I took a train to Montpellier to visit Adrien Delecroix :D

Riding with Adrien is ALWAYS cool :D … We also had nice laugh out there! There were some issues to solve for the 2010 season and we worked out to organize some plans for the next year… The bad thing went in the last 4 days: I had a kind of Flu and didn’t really trained! With the Swine Flu thing in Brazil, I had to visit an Hospital to be sure and take a certificate of health to come back! Valeríe (Adriens mom) helped A LOT and everything worked out!

Thanks A LOT Yoggi, Vava and all Delecroix for helping me out this summer! Hope to see eveyrbody in the World Championships this year!

Here are the pictures!
